Curious to learn more about Black Greek Letter Organizations in the Greater Boston Area? On Tuesday, February 4th, the Northeastern National Pan-Hellenic Council will be hosting "Meet the Divine 9" between 7-9pm at the John D. O'Bryant African American Institute Cabral Center (40 Leon St. Boston, MA 02115). Food will be provided and members of all 9 organizations will be present! If you have general questions about Greek life, want to know more about an organization, or want a better understanding of what the Divine 9 is, this is definitely an event to be at!
Are You the One? - 02/07/2020
Are you the one? Are you looking to meet new people? Want new friends? Looking for a significant other to celebrate Valentine's Day with? In collaboration with the Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., we are hosting our first ever matchmaking event on Friday, February 7th at the John D. O'Bryant African American Institute Cabral Center (40 Leon St. Boston, MA 02115), between 6:30-9pm! In order to participate, you must cashapp $3 to $KNSGRhos with your name and email. After sending in your payment, we will email you the questionnaire to fill out. We will then match you with someone of similar interests based off your responses in the questionnaire and at the event, you have to find the person we matched you with! First pair to find their match wins a prize! All questionnaires must be submitted by Wednesday, February 5th. For more information, email us at [email protected].
If you would like to attend without participating in the matchmaking, the entry fee will be $3 until Friday, September 7th at 5pm.
The entry fee will be $5 at the door.

More Than A Hashtag: Know Your Rights - 02/19/2020
In collaboration with the Black Engineering Student Society (BESS), Students Against Institutional Discrimination (SAID), and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. - Sigma Chapter, we are hosting a panel and discussion on the climate surrounding police traffic stops and people of color. Our panelists will includes members of law enforcement, government, legal, and academic institutions. Come out and discuss the research surrounding the issue and share, if you would like, your own personal experiences.

The Kappa Nu Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated will be hosting our signature event, Black Rhoses, on Saturday, March 28th, 2020. Black Rhoses is an event that honors influential minority leaders within the community that strives for change and reconstruction of the lives of everyday people within their neighborhoods. We look to recognize these men and women (students, faculty/staff, community leaders) for their significant contributions to the community and to honor their constant efforts in influencing the lives of many. The link below serves as a nomination form for one of the roles aforementioned. This form will close Monday, February 24th at 11:59pm. You may nominate more than one person. Thank you for submitting a nomination and recognizing the contribution of those around you.
